Hello, my name is Glenn and I have always loved the stars and photographing them.
Over the years this has grown into a passion and I have a wealth of knowledge to share. I am accredited with a NASA APOD on 17th June 2021 for one of the images I captured with some Astrophotographer friends and can be seen at the NASA APOD site https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.h
I have a wonderful space built in a Dark Bortle 4 location with 2 permanent telescopes inside a roll off roof observatory.
I am available for 1 to 1 tuition from this location and can help you with all aspects of the hobby.
This could range from how to set up equipment, getting the best guiding results from your mount, image acquisition and all the way to editing and producing a final image. Although I mainly pursue deep sky imaging I also like to use a DSLR and take Night landscape images too so if this is something you would like we can cover that also.
I'll show you how to take single images and a series of images to stack, best settings for timelapses and making beautiful startrails.
You can use my in house equipment or if you prefer, bring your own so that we can help get the best results from your set up. The time is yours and we can tailor your experience based on your current knowledge and needs.

I have 2 permanent piers in my Observatory that can be remotely accessed from anywhere with an internet connection.
On one sits my Largest mount a Sky Watcher EQ8 R Pro
On the other is my Sky Watcher EQ6 R Pro
I also have a portable mount which is an iOptron CEM26
